Top Ten Books I'd Like to See as Movies or TV Shows

As you can see my list is pretty much all either Urban Fantasy or Paranormal Romance, that's because I love those two genres the most :)
These are in no particular order because I had a hard time picking favorites!

1. The Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs
One of my all-time favorite series, ever. Mercy kicks butt, getst her butt kicked and keeps me dying for more. Why aren't there movies for these books yet!?!

2. The Marnie Baranuik Series by A.J. Aalto
Freaking awesome series! Marnie is just awesome and will leave you wanting your own cold company! I think it would make a great series of movies or TV series. You can check out my review for the first book here.
3. The Psy-Changeling Series by Nalini Singh
Fantastic series, so many really awesome books in the Psy-Changeling world. I know I'd have a hard time picking a favorite hero but Judd Lauren will always hold a place in my heart!

4. The Kate Daniels Series by Ilona Andrews
Awesome series, loved the whole shebang!

5. The MoonBound Clan Vampires Series by Larissa Ione
I think this series would make a great TV series, it's darker but I think it'd do well. I reviewed book 1 here and book 2 here.
6. The Edge Series by Ilona Andrews
Only read the first two but they were really good, the first one is my favorite though.

7. The Hollows Series by Kim Harrison
I still haven't gotten to the last book yet, but I'm getting there LOL! This series started out okay (for me anyway) and just got better with each book!

8. The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost

Loved this whole series!

9. The Jane Yellowrock Series by Faith Hunter
Great series so far, can't wait to fine out more about Jane.

10. Waking the Dragon by Juliette Cross
This one isn't actually out yet (releases June 9th) but I read it last month from NetGalley. I will be posting my review soon, but needless to say I loved it.

Feel free to leave me your Top Ten in the comments or link to your post, I'd love to see them!!!

  2. I am with you on MBC, it has the kind of grit that would translate nicely on TV. I'm still annoyed that the planned TV show for Kim H. fell through

    1. Ooh I would have loved to see Kim Harrison's books on TV :( I know some of the series I picked probably wouldn't be easy to do, but hey a girl can dream LOL!

    1. Thanks Kristin! I'm not sure all of them would translate well to the big screen, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't still love to see them :D
