For Easter we usually have dinner early in the day and let all of the kids hunt Easter eggs. The day for us is usually just about spending time with our family :) So what are your Easter plans this year?

I am Greek Orthodox Christian and our Easter falls on May 5th this year ♥ We do have many traditions. One I look forward to is making Greek Easter cookies with my mom and my kids!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to hide some treats around the house for the pups, make them both eater baskets, and have dinner as a family (it's just my hubby and myself until we move back home in four months)

I'm going to spend the day with my friend and her family since I haven't seen them in forever.
ReplyDeleteEaster is always at home, childhood traditions include egg dyeing, having the Easter bunny hide our baskets filled with goodies in the morning, egg hunts...the usual! :)

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately there are no Easter plans this year. I was hoping to exchange chocolates and gifts with family and friends but don't think it's going to happen. :/

ReplyDeleteWe always make Resurrection rolls. You put a marsh mellow in the middle of the roll with some butter and roll it around in cinnamon and suger. When you cook it the marsh mellow melts and the inside of the roll is hollow.

The kids will be getting their Easter baskets, we usually hide them for them to find. Then, we'll go to mass and later have family over for dinner.

ReplyDeleteWhen my kids where younger I would set up a basket for each of them with lots of candy and a big chocolate bunny and a few toys in there. Then we would have an Easter egg hunt. With the eggs that we had died the night before. My kids loved dying the eggs. I so miss that! I would also get plastic eggs and fill them with money and candy. I so miss those days!!
