The highly anticipated third novel in the Searching For series fromJennifer Probst, “one of the most exciting breakout novelists” (USA Today), featuring a runaway bride and the man who wants to be more than just her best friend...
Genevieve MacKenzie has her life completely under control. About to wed the charming Chief doctor at the local hospital, she’s an up-and-coming surgeon with everything she could ever want. Until an escape through the church window on the day of her wedding sends her life into a tailspin...and flings her right into her best friend’s arms.
When Wolfe catches his best friend falling out a window on her wedding day, he doesn’t ask questions. He whisks her away, determined to watch over her and discover the truth behind her desperate escape. But when his feelings turn more than platonic, he realizes he may risk his most important relationship in order to protect his damaged heart, and the woman he loves.
Can Genevieve and Wolfe’s friendship turn into something deeper—or is it already too late for true love?

I loved Searching for Beautiful! I am completely new to this series, and it didn't look like something that I'd be into so I almost skipped over it. Flipping through the pages I stopped at a random page in the middle and read a few lines and just happened to get to a good part *ahem*. It was really well written so I started reading and I am really glad that I did! It was such a wonderful story.

Genevieve (Gen) starts out this story by running out on her own wedding, and you have no idea exactly why she's running but you know that it's bad. Wolfe is her best friend and he catches her leaving and helps her to escape. There was so much to this book and I know that there will be triggers for some people, although all of these things happen in the past and are talked about later on, I still felt like the author did a great job handling some very sensitive subjects.

I really enjoyed watching Gen find herself again after being in a bad relationship, seeing her become a strong, confident woman again was wonderful. She's a great character that you will really enjoy. I also enjoyed the journey that Wolfe goes on, forgiving himself for something he had no control over, and finding love along the way. What he goes through is both horrifying and amazing that he made it to where he is. Their story is one that brought tears to my eyes (I'm not ashamed to admit!), made me smile like a loon, and made me feel everything that they went through.

Overall, Searching for Beautiful was a lovely story that left me with that warm fuzzy feeling that you get at the end of great book. Don't worry if you haven't read the others first, I had no problem keeping up, and I want to go back and start at the beginning. I loved it and I hope you will too!
