Q: What is the BIGGEST word you’ve seen used in a book lately – that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too.
Oh no, this is a hard one for me! I will occasionally find a word that I don't know, but I use the define function on my Kindle to look it up. I don't really take note of the word, I just learn it and move on, so I have no idea what the last one was! If I think of one I'll be sure to update though :)
It was hard for me to figure out what the last one was too.... it's not like I keep a list.. but I found one...here is mine:

Thanks for following Sarika, I'll be sure to stop by :)
DeleteI don't think I've had to use that feature on my Kindle. I can usually infer the meaning of a difficult word by the context it's used in.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
It's so convenient these days to be able to look up a word as your reading with zero effort. I dearly love my Nook and this is one of the many many reasons why. The word I had to look up was from David Mitchell's novel Cloud Atlas. Check it out here
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my FF post earlier. I am an 'old' GFC follower :)
ReplyDeletehave a fantastic Friday.
The question this week is pretty difficult! I look up the words on my e-reader, but hardly ever do with a hardcover/paperback.

ReplyDeleteHey! Thanks for following me! LOL, I guess it's the teacher in me-when I run across a word I have to stop and look it up. *Grin* but I don't have an ereader, so I have to do it the hard way lol!
ReplyDeleteFollowed you back. :)

Depends if I am on my Kindle I will look it up faster than if just reading a paperback
