Q: Happy Father’s Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?
Okay, I've got it! Just took me a couple of minutes. I'm going to go with Jamie Fraser from The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. For one he's a super sexy (hey he's not my dad!) highland warrior, and even though circumstances separated him from his children for years, he has always tried to be a good dad. He's also an awesome husband & an excellent grandfather too! This series, as a whole, is probably in my top five favorite of all time, and you should definitely read them.

One of my most favorite series ever. Second favorite would be the fever series by Karen Marie Moning. I can't believe how many of the commenters haven't read Outlander! :)
ReplyDeleteI know, they are such good books! I can't wait till the next one comes out, it's driving me crazy waiting :) I love the Fever series too, Jess got me reading that one.

ReplyDeleteThe way you talk about him totally reminds me of Daniel Macgregor from Nora Roberts's Macgregor series! And I completely drooled all over him... I love when a series spans over many years!
