From the Review Pile is a meme hosted by
Stepping Out of the Page every Thursday.
The aim of this meme is to showcase books that you've received for review (or any book that you own and really want to read/review) but haven't yet got around to reading, in order to give the book some extra publicity.

On Demon Wings (An Experiment in Terror #5)
by Karina Halle

When the life you wanted has crumbled beneath your fingers, there’s nothing left to do but pick up the pieces and soldier on. You’ve done this before.

But what happens when you no longer feel like yourself anymore? When fires spontaneously start-up around you, when you hear growling coming from underneath your bed, and you no longer recognize your face in the mirror. What happens then?

Ghost-hunter Perry Palomino doesn’t have much time to find out. Now, the evil she used to hunt is a lot closer to home. It’s inside of her, taking over her life bit-by-terrifying bit, and there’s only one person who can help her.

If part of her doesn’t kill him first.

I've been wanting to start this series for a while, and I'm one of those people who have to start at the beginning. Since this is #5 in the series, and I've got way too many books on my to-read list, it'll probably be a while before I can get to it. It's got 4.82 star rating on GoodReads and 4.7 on Amazon.

SAHM to four rowdy kids. Avid reader and blogger.
