4 out of 5 Stars
Elle is an energetic, independent woman with a successful business and new start in the big city. The bustling streets of New York are not what she expected, yet she finds the freedom exhilarating. One interaction at the mailboxes with her shy, strikingly handsome neighbor is all it takes to turn the strong- willed young woman into a bumbling mess.
Jonah Quinn is withdrawn for good reason; he harbors a dark secret. He lives his life in the shadows, playing his music in late night bars and hiding himself from everyone but Elle's cat. His tattoos bear his pain while his music is his outlet, but it is his silence that keeps his shame at bay.
Can one night of passion between the two of them lead to more than casual glances exchanged at their mailboxes? Will Elle be strong enough to help Jonah with his personal demons. And will Jonah break his silence regarding a past that haunts him?
The Rules for this relationship are Unwritten. A story of longing, love, and forgiveness.
I almost stop reading this book when I first started it because it was a little cheesy, and Elle drove me crazy! I felt like smacking her through most of the book! Actually the things that came out of her mouth and her actions are one of the reasons why I didn't want to finish reading it, but I kept on going and I 'm glad I did. There is just something about a needy male that I can't resist. (I can over look anything wrong with this book because I loved Jonah!) Needy and with issues only makes me swoon more over his hotness!
Over all this was a good book ( if you can overlook that I hated Elle) but it wasn't intense or edgy. So yet another book that will not be on my favorite list.

SAHM to four rowdy kids. Avid reader and blogger.

  2. Based on your review, don't think I'd like it. Even if I like the guy, if I don't like the girl he ends up with, I'm generally unsatisfied. (Why do the hot guys always end up with the annoying girls? :D) Thanks for the review!

  3. I'm glad my review helped :)I can't recommend a book unless I'm being honest.
